Thursday 31 July 2014.
After the couple of silvers the last time out I returned there again today hoping for more. Wasn't to be, just the same old finds of grots, decimal, buttons and trash. Mind you, one of the old pennies is dated 1899, so a bit of age there. I'll be glad when I have enough money in my pot for that CS4PI beach detector I'm after. Then I can do more beach detecting until some new land comes along.
But think of the exercise.....
ReplyDeleteWell pointed out Dick. Sometimes we forget about some of the other benefits we get from this amazing hobby.

ReplyDeleteWhen a comment is made I get an email telling me. I had an email telling me that you had left a comment here on this post, but when I log in I don't see the comment from you. I can't understand why the comment is not showing?
Hmm, weird one that, I commented on Dick Stouts post (I clicked on the reply directly under his post...I'm sure it was there when i logged off?? oh well lol.
ReplyDeleteCant remember\the exact post but it was something along the line of "think of the execise? he must have found enough spare change to join a Gym"
Jordan.
Aha, nice one, your comment showed this time. Not sure what happened to your other one.
ReplyDeleteJoin a gym....I joined one a couple of years ago. Paid £300 for the year, didn't feel any fitter, never lost any weight, total waste of money,.... apparently you have to turn up.
No did not find enough change for gym and I am not interested in one.....have been through the diet and exercise promises way too many times in my 73 years. At this point I accept the way I am and love to eat. Life is too short.
ReplyDeleteWhen i said I replied to your post, I meant as if i was talking to you about Janner..(as in it was he who had found enough spare change to join a Gym) I think it got lost in translation. :D
