MY HOME IS MY CASTLE.
What
better way to step back in time and experience the past than a visit to
one of our great castles. Great Britain is full of them so where ever
you may visit you can bet there's one nearby. Many have witnessed
dramatic sieges and battles which have left them in ruins while others
are now stately homes. These links have some breathtaking pictures of
castles. Just looking at them makes you feel a part of history.

BOTTLE DIGGING
Many years ago I used to be a very keen bottle digger and was always out digging old rubbish dumps for bottles to add to my collection. As well as the bottles I used to also collect other things that came out of these dumps like pot lids, doll's heads and limbs and an array of pottery jars and pots. My main collecting theme used to be stoneware ginger beer bottles from my home town of Plymouth. At one time I had 118 ginger beers just from Plymouth, all different.
can you tell me how to get permission from land owner. thanks
ReplyDeleteHi Ray, Getting permissions can be one of the hardest things to do in this hobby of metal detecting. I have had and still do have problems in this area. Below is a link to a you tube video that I found very helpful and hope you do too. Just copy and paste the below link into your browser.
