Had another run this afternoon on my usual hunting ground and this time managed a silver sixpence. Also an Elizabeth II two shillings dated 1966, some buttons and shoe eyelets. and two pennies. The machine I used today was my Velox One with the large coil.
I put a modern 1p in the picture above to show you just how tiny that button is. Am really amazed how the Velox can detect such tiny items with the large 17.5 inch coil attached. Also in that picture is the George V Sixpence I found, I just love those silvers.
