Another Victorian Silver Today.

My total finds today: A grot Halfpenny, a 1949 Two Shillings, a 1944 Thrupenny Bit, Button and the Vikky Shilling dated 1849. Also a lead figure of a bird.

Today saw our first club dig of 2015. We all headed down into Cornwall where we had a lot of land to detect. Too much really to detect in just one day but we gave it our best shot.

Finds were few and far between but I've heard that a total of six silvers were found. One was a hammered coin of Charles the Bold which was found just a few yards from me. In that same field I found my Vikky Shilling using my Deus on the Deus Fast program.

Sunday 11 January 2015.
